From this analysis, we noted that multiple elevated transcripts within the extracellular matrix organization GO term, particularly, CD44, osteopontin (SPP1), SPARC, and integrin A3 (ITGA3) (Figure 5b), have been widely studied in GBM [41–48] and implicated with cancer invasion/metastasis and severity [41–48]. The gene discussed is CD44; the disease is glioblastoma.
