AIM2 and colorectal carcinoma: Figure 6A shows that restoration of AIM2 expression dramatically inhibited the growth of PDOs in both of these two patients with BRAF mutation. Additionally, we passaged the PDO with AIM2 overexpression and observed the growth curve of these PDOs, and the results also demonstrated AIM2 restoration could inhibit the growth of BRAF-mutant CRC PDOs (Figure 6B), suggesting that restoration of AIM2 expression inhibits the tumor cell growth in CRC patients with BRAF mutation.
