Compared with healthy donors, using Western blot analysis, the chaperone protein mortalin (GRP75) was found to be significantly upregulated in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), gastric cancer (GC), breast cancer (BC), colon cancer (CC), ovarian cancer (OC), and prostate cancer (PSC) exosomes. This evidence concerns the gene HSPA9 and colonic neoplasm.
