In order to correlate the K165-induced changes in H3K9K14 acetylation levels with transcriptional regulation, we quantified the expression levels of NPR1, PR1, PDF1.2, CAD3, and CAD4 genes in adult (4-week-old) plants before and after infections with V. dahliae (Fig. 4) and in 2-week-old seedlings (Supplementary Fig. S6). The gene discussed is CDH4; the disease is infection.
