Both in univariate and multivariate logistic regression models, CRP (OR = 1.01, P = 0.003), percentage of monocytes (OR = 0.78, P = 0.004), percentage of neutrophils (OR = 1.07, P = 0.023), neutrophils count (OR = 1.09, P = 0.010), D-dimer (OR = 1.06, P = 0.011), prothrombin activity (OR = 0.98, P = 0.020), gamma-glutamyl transferase (OR = 1.00, 95% CI 1.00-1.01, P = 0.034) and alkaline phosphatase (OR = 1.01, P < 0.001) were identified as being associated with sudden death of COVID-19 patients. Here, CRP is linked to COVID-19.
