As shown in Fig. 3C, D, SLC25A20 overexpression significantly increased the expressions of epithelial markers (E-cadherin and ZO-1), while it decreased the expressions of mesenchymal markers (N-cadherin and Vimentin), indicating that SLC25A20 overexpression may suppress HCC cell migration and invasion through repression of EMT. This evidence concerns the gene CDH2 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
