The data showed that antiapoptotic Mcl-1 was extensively elevated in a dose-dependent manner, whereas the other antiapoptotic proteins, Bcl-xL and Bcl-2, were unchanged in both H460 and A549 NSCLC cells (Fig. 5a); the changes in Mcl-1 levels corresponded to the changes in tubulin acetylation levels (Fig. 4d). Here, BCL2 is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
