Not surprising that in view of these results, mem(sc)LTα2β-induced TNFR1 and TNFR2 activation was inhibited by Etanercept (Supplemental Fig. 4), a dimeric Fc fusion protein of the human TNFR2 ectodomain that is widely used in the clinic to treat rheumatoid arthritis. The gene discussed is TNFRSF1A; the disease is rheumatoid arthritis.
