When the MDACC Residual Cancer Burden Index “Class 0&1” vs “Class 2&3” were compared, high expression of CTLA-4 on TILs was found to be associated with a better chemotherapy response (OR = 7.94, 95% CI: 0.9–70.12, p = 0.06), whereas TIM-3 positivity was contrarily associated with a worse chemotherapy response (OR = 0.253, 95% CI: 0.066–0.974, p = 0.047). The gene discussed is CTLA4; the disease is cancer.
