These lesions, however, are not discussed within the scope of this article since they either occur more often in adult patients (e.g., schwannoma in NF2 or radiation-induced meningioma) or since once they show some changes in radiological features, they will eventually need biopsy or resection to confirm the diagnosis and tailor further treatment (DNET/LGG/incidentalomas) [77, 78]. This evidence concerns the gene NF2 and schwannoma.
