The result showed that the percentage of apoptotic cells in the control group (4.26±1.93%) and si-NC group (4.04±1.50%) were both significantly lower than that in the si-GSPT1 group (20.16±2.42%) (P<0.001) (Figure 2E), suggesting that down-regulation of GSPT1 induced colon cancer cell apoptosis. Here, GSPT1 is linked to colonic neoplasm.
