In recent years, a large number of studies have investigated the tumor immune microenvironment, including tumor‐infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs), such as CD8 (+) cytotoxic T cells, FOXP3 (+) regulatory T cells, programmed death protein 1 (PD‐1) (+) T cells, and the programmed death ligand 1 (PD‐L1) expression in tumor cells.9, 10, 11 While previous studies have explored TILs and PD‐L1 expression in typical thymoma and thymic SCC cases, no studies have focused on TILs and PD‐L1 expression in MNT and MNCA. This evidence concerns the gene FOXP3 and neoplasm.
