Considering the miR-338-3p putative target interaction region in MMP-2, predicted by miRcode and miRbase bioinformatics tools, we hypothesized that miR-338-3p might inhibit the cell invasion and epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT) process in neuroblastoma by targeting MMP-2, and the hypothesis was tested in GI-LI-N and SK-N-SH neuroblastoma cell lines. Here, MMP2 is linked to neuroblastoma.
