In this study, we found that the protein levels of p-AKT and p-PI3K were notably reduced in GBM cells by miR-489-3p re-expression, but were enhanced by BDNF overexpression, thus, miR-489-3p suppressed the activation of PI3K/AKT signaling pathway by BDNF suppression. This evidence concerns the gene BDNF and glioblastoma.
