Six genes came out of this analysis: CDH3, CTGF, CYR61, FGF13, CHRDL1, and OGN. P-cadherin/CDH3 belongs to the family of classical calcium adhesion proteins, which are cell adhesion molecules involved in cellular localization and tissue integrity, and has been implicated in many types of cancers, such as hepatocellular carcinoma (36), pancreatic cancer (37), and breast cancer (38). The gene discussed is CCN1; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
