By integrating eQTLs and combing association evidence across tissues, our study ultimately discovered 14 potential pleiotropy genes, and four of them (i.e., INPP5B, OR5K2, RP11-2C24.5 and CTD-3105H18.4) were not directly reported in previous literature, providing new insight into shared genetic basis between RA and SLE. This evidence concerns the gene INPP5B and rheumatoid arthritis.
