PRF1 and primary biliary cholangitis: Furthermore, MAIT cells from PBC produced significantly more IFN-γ (88.3 ± 4.2% vs. 64.2 ± 10.1%, p < 0.01), TNF-α (93.0 ± 1.1% vs. 80.1 ± 5.3%, p < 0.01), Granzyme B (89.3 ± 3.3% vs. 72.1 ± 7.0%, p < 0.01), and perforin (46.8 ± 6.6% vs. 34.8 ± 7.7%, p < 0.05), but not IL-17 (Figures 2B–E), with the stimulation of PMA and ionomycin, which indicated both pro-inflammatory and cytotoxic phenotypes.
