It has been reported that the pathological nuclear factor kappa-light chain enhanced activation of B-lymphocyte (NF-κB) is associated with a variety of degenerative diseases, such as osteoarthritis (Berenbaum, 2004), rheumatoid arthritis (Dai et al., 2004), and muscular dystrophy (Acharyya et al., 2007). Here, NFKB1 is linked to muscular dystrophy.
