Our current findings show an increase in APLP2 expression in human patient pancreatic adenocarcinoma epithelial cells compared to precursor pancreatic intraepithelial neoplasia (PanIN) lesions (as well as stromal cells), which indicates a correlation between the level of APLP2 expression and the development of pancreatic cancer. Here, APLP2 is linked to pancreatic neoplasm.
