A 131I-labeled albumin-encapsulated liposome pretreatment potentiated the antitumor effect of second-wave immune checkpoint blockade therapy based on the anti-programmed death-ligand 1 antibody, hypoxia-activated chemotherapy based on AQ4N (hypoxia-activatable drug) loaded liposomes, and photothermal therapy based on near-infrared dye loaded liposomes in 4T1 breast cancer-bearing mice. Here, ALB is linked to breast carcinoma.
