Using the mean expression value as a cut-off, we observed that higher TRIM24 expression is significantly associated with worse survival for Kidney Chromophobe (KICH), Mesothelioma (MESO), Brain Lower Grade Glioma (LGG), and Liver Hepatocellular Carcinoma (LIHC) patients and with better survival for Thymoma (THYM) and Colorectal Adenocarcinoma (COAD) patients (Figure 1A). The gene discussed is TRIM24; the disease is chromophobe renal cell carcinoma.
