Our findings gathered from both MCF7-TamR and other breast cancer cell lines of the luminal A molecular subtype agree with clinical observations that overexpression of MT2A, FtH, or Hsp70 represents a poor prognostic factor for metastatic breast cancer of different subtypes, which significantly correlates with their aggressiveness and drug resistance [35,36,52]. The gene discussed is MT2A; the disease is breast carcinoma.
