Since the Adiponectin-AdipoR1/2-SIRI-PGC-1 pathways play crucial roles for mitochondrial function, gluconeogenesis, fatty acid oxidation and De novo lipogenesis in liver, we suggest that LMF-HSFx affects lipid and glycogen metabolism, mitochondrial function through Adiponectin-AdipoR1/2 and SIRI-PGC-1 pathways in adipocytes and hepatocytes (Figure 2, Figure 6, Figure 7 and Figure 8 and Table 1), alleviates insulin resistance (Figure 5 and Figure S1), inflammation and hepatic steatosis (Figure 3 and Figure 4 and Figure S2). The gene discussed is PPARGC1B; the disease is fatty liver disease.
