The intensity of the staining of estrogen receptors in basaloid cells reached 2.17 ± 0.70 in the adenoma group, 1.67 ± 0.78 in the epithelioma group and 0.80 ± 0.84 in the carcinoma group and the differences were significant between the adenoma and carcinoma groups (p = 0.01). This evidence concerns the gene ESR1 and epithelial neoplasm.
