We identified a total of eight SNPs located on adjacent regions of the PRMT6, PLGLB2, DTWD2, BATF, JDP2, ONECUT1, WDR72, KLK, MAP3K7, and TGFBR2 genes, which had a significant association with susceptibility to scrub typhus (Supplementary Table S1). The gene discussed is PRMT6; the disease is scrub typhus.
