NPPB and diabetes mellitus: In univariable analyses, being older (HR 1.11, 95% CI 1.06–1.17), having higher NT-proBNP levels (HR 1.002, 95% CI 1.001–1.004), having diabetes mellitus (HR = 4.57, 95% CI 1.91–10.96), atrial fibrillation (HR 4.98, 95% CI 1.40–17.72), and AVR during follow-up (HR 0.24, 95% CI 0.10–0.58) were predictors of all-cause mortality (Table 3).
