Myocardial infarction-associated transcript (MIAT) is a long intergenic non-coding RNA that carries out functions in the development of a variety of physiological and disease processes, including neuron development; schizophrenia; myocardial infarction; and various malignant tumors such as gastric cancer, pancreatic cancer, lung cancer, osteosarcoma, renal carcinoma, and laryngeal carcinoma [10,11,12,13,14,15]. This evidence concerns the gene MIAT and renal carcinoma.
