When the dominant negative PLOD2 (D689A) was expressed in the L1-transfected CRC cells, the effects conferred by L1 on CRC cell proliferation (Figure 2D, compare L1 to pcDNA3) and motility (Figure 2E) were reduced to the levels observed in the control LS 174T cells (Figure 2D, compare L1 to L1 + PLOD2 (D689A) cl1 and cl2). Here, PLOD2 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
