The in vitro results indicate the repressive effect of miR-1 on proliferation, migration, motility, and metabolism of CRC cells by targeting vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), notch receptor 3 (NOTCH3), and hypoxia-inducible factor 1 subunit alpha (HIF1A) gene [29,30,31]. The gene discussed is HIF1A; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
