In this regard, it seems reasonable to diagnose AIP using a noninvasive method of quantitatively evaluating potential participants in the EMT in trophoblast cells, in particular, clusterin and E-cadherin as well as potential regulators of their expression—hsa-miR-21-5p, hsa-miR-25-3p, hsa-miR-92a-3p, hsa-miR-320a-3p, and hsa-miR-17-5p—in the peripheral blood plasma of pregnant women. This evidence concerns the gene CLU and autoimmune pancreatitis.
