We found a significant difference between the levels of antibodies in PBC patients and the control group: 52 U/mL vs. 19 U/mL, p < 0.0006 for anti-Sp140 antibodies, 210 U/mL vs. 20 U/mL, p < 0.0001 for anti-Sp100 antibodies and 15 U/mL vs. 3.1 U/mL, p < 0.0001 for anti-PML. This evidence concerns the gene SP140 and primary biliary cholangitis.
