IGHE and allergic disease: Of these, 2 were sensitized to alpha-gal, with alpha-gal IgE level ≥0.10 kU/L but no history of allergic reaction following mammalian meat ingestion (referred to as “sensitized” or “C/S”), and 15 participants had alpha-gal syndrome (sensitized with alpha-gal IgE level ≥ 0.1 kU/L and a history of allergic reaction after ingesting alpha-gal, referred to as “AGS”).
