Analysis of 7 of these genes in patients with deep vein thrombosis (i.e., platelet endothelial aggregation receptor 1 (PEAR1), murine retrovirus integration site 1 (MRVI1), janus kinase 2 (JAK2), FCER1G, proplatelet basic protein (PPBP), alpha2A adrenergic receptor (ADRA2A), and sonic hedgehog (SHH)) supported the idea that genetic variability of PEAR1 and ADRA2A genes are associated with venous thromboembolism [29]. This evidence concerns the gene PEAR1 and deep vein thrombosis.
