From in vitro, in vivo, and clinical studies, IL-17A was reported to induce proliferation, the inhibition of apoptosis, and the migration of NSCLC cell lines and tumor growth and metastasis in an NSCLC xenograft model; and it was correlated with an advanced stage of NSCLC (III/IV) or a poor OS in NSCLC patients [36].
