As found in NSCLC tissue and NSCLC cell line models, it is involved in the regulation of key metastatic processes such as: proliferation, invasion and apoptosis [35] via down-regulation of a number of oncogenes (KRAS, c-MYC, CDK6, HOXA9, TGFBR1, BCL-XL, and MAP4K3) and key cell cycle regulators (CDK6, CDC25A, and cyclin-D2) [15,34,35,36,37]. This evidence concerns the gene MAP4K3 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
