Changes from baseline will also be assessed via: (1) other pain scales, such as the Neuropathic Pain Symptom Inventory (NPSI); (2) several quality-of-life questionnaires, such as QLQ-C30 (from the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer), SF-36, and the EQ-5D-5L; (3) anxiety and depression questionnaires; (4) assessment by hyperspectral imaging of painful areas; (5) several biochemical parameters, with special focus on proinflammatory cytokines (TNFα and several interleukins) and OS parameters such as SOD, GSH-Px, GSH, CAT, MDA, peroxidation potential, and redox index. Here, TNF is linked to depressive disorder.
