Interestingly, both groups of PCM patients had higher percentages of CD86+ unstimulated cells than non-PCM subjects did (both p < 0.05); however, only moDCs from treated patients showed this increase when stimulated with gp43 or CFA (p < 0.01 and p < 0.05, respectively; Figure 2b). The gene discussed is CD86; the disease is paracoccidioidomycosis.
