HSPD1 and Familial prostate cancer: HSPD1 showed nuclear presence in 98% of CTCs, 97% of LEVs, and 86% of apoptotic-like cells, with predominantly strong staining (score 2–3), while being absent or low in WBCs (Figure 3A), demonstrating that HSPD1 is a promising marker for specifically identifying and enriching for tumor derived cells and LEVs in prostate cancer liquid biopsies.
