CD274 and plasma cell myeloma: During the subsequent part of the treatment Daratumumab exerts its effects by eliminating regulatory cells of the T-, B- and Myeloid phenotype, direct stimulation of cytotoxic T-cells, inhibition of formation of immunosuppressive adenosine, inhibition of formation of nanotubes with concomitant transfer of mitochondria from stromal cells to myeloma cells, inhibition of adhesion of myeloma cells to stromal cells and inhibition of upregulation of PD-L1 induced by chemotherapy on antigen-presenting cells.
