In conclusion, from the results of the percentages of the rightly predicted type of meningitis in Table 2, Table 3 and Table 4, it can be concluded that ML models may be used as an accurate method to predict whether a patient has viral or bacterial meningitis from their values for CSF neutrophils, CSF lymphocytes, NLR, albumin, glucose, gender, and CRP and might be included in the mainstream of computer-aided diagnosis systems for this purpose.
