Moreover, since the expression pattern DUSP1high/pJNKlow/pERKlow/Snaillow is associated with an overall extended survival of patients and decreased cell migration and invasion, our results suggest that therapies based on DUSP1 induction combined with ERK and/or JNK inhibition may be promising in the treatment of metastatic prostate cancer.
