We wish to highlight that recently, a series of targeted therapies were approved for advanced cSCC including epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) inhibitors (e.g., cetuximab) or immunotherapy (e.g., cemiplimab) as neoadjuvant therapy for patients with inoperable or incompletely resected regional disease and for those with regional recurrence or metastatic disease [63,64,65]. The gene discussed is EGFR; the disease is skin squamous cell carcinoma.
