Among the first studies to perform lncRNA expression profiling on different B-ALL subtypes, Dinesh Rao and colleagues found that lncRNA expression patterns predict the cytogenetic profile of B-ALL for three common B-ALL subtypes (ETV6-RUNX1 t(12;21)(p13;q22), TCF3-PBX1 t(1;19) and MLL-AF4 t(4;11)) [68].
