In the univariable analysis (Table 5), age, male gender, Hb level at admission <12.0 g/dL and heart failure were identified as significant risk factors associated with a shorter time to death at 30 days, whereas, at 180 days, the other variable additional to age, male gender, Hemoglobin (Hb) at admission <12.0 g/dL and heart failure associated with mortality in the univariable analysis was dyspnea (Table 6).
