To study the relationship of GPER and H3K4me3 in ovarian cancer, we examined the expression levels of H3K4me3 in ovarian cancer specimens by immunohistochemistry, and followed these results in vitro by thoroughly investigating the effect of GPER in ovarian cancer cells via its specific agonist G1, antagonist G15 and knockdown of GPER expression. Here, GPER1 is linked to ovarian carcinoma.
