HDAC-2 overexpression has been correlated with HG lip SCC [32], NSCLC [33], esophageal [40], gastric [29,41], hepatocellular [34], prostate [35,36], serous subtype of endometrial and ovarian and urothelial bladder carcinoma [38], the latest more often accompanied by adjacent carcinoma in situ when HDAC-2 was overexpressed [37]. This evidence concerns the gene HDAC2 and bladder transitional cell carcinoma.
