Even though the two PCOS patients identified as positive for GnRH-R-aAb displayed a particular pattern of circulating androgens in comparison to control and to the other PCOS patients from the same cohort (PCOS-A), the prevalence of GnRH-R-aAb in PCOS was very low, the concentrations of the GnRH-R-aAb were not exceedingly high, and the deviation of the steroid levels from the range observed in PCOS is moderate. Here, GNRHR is linked to polycystic ovary syndrome.
