As shown in Figures 3A, C, we found significantly higher levels and antibody positivity of anti-TPO antibody in PV female patients (83.34 ± 38.98 IU/ml, 38.89%) than PV male patients (2.16 ± 0.80 IU/ml, 6.67%) (plevel = 0.0081, ppositivity = 0.0032). This evidence concerns the gene TPO and acquired polycythemia vera.
