Previously, studies have investigated the role of thirteen m6A regulatory genes in lung cancer [29–34], but the roles of seven newly discovered ones, namely, METTL16, YTHDF3, IGF2BP1, IGF2BP2, IGF2BP3, HNRNPG, and HNRNPA2B1 has not been determined [29–34]. This evidence concerns the gene YTHDF3 and lung carcinoma.
