Bi-specific antibodies were tested across various malignancies and promising preclinical results were achieved with MCSP (melanoma-associated chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan) and DR5 bispecific, tetravalent antibody which allowed a selective DR5-dependent apoptosis induction in the MCSP-expressing melanoma cells (Dobson et al., 2009; He et al., 2016; Dubuisson and Micheau, 2017). This evidence concerns the gene TNFRSF10B and melanoma.
